Plum Barbecue Glaze

This plum barbecue glaze comes together quickly in a food processor! The variety of spices add a delicious complex flavor. Enjoy served over your favorite barbecued meats.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz prunes
  • ½ cup onions chopped
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • 5 oz apple juice
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 3 oz blueberry jam
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
 

  • To a food processor add prunes, onion and dried rosemary. Blend for 20 seconds. Add in cinnamon, allspice, cumin, apple juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, black pepper and garlic. Pulse to incorporate. Add in jam and olive oil. Blend for 10 seconds to combine. Taste and adjust flavors to your liking! Best after sitting for at least 24 hours so flavors can merry.
